History

WHAT WE DO: You can look at our calendar and our volunteer page to learn about specific upcoming activities.

Voters Service: Each year we seek opportunities to register voters, in cooperation with other organizations and on our own. We publish a Voters Guide for West Hartford elective offices and with West Hartford Public Access TV we produce televised debates for West Hartford elections. In 2008 we will cover State Senate District 5 and State Assembly districts 18, 19, and 20. We are working with the Metro Hartford Alliance and Hartford 2000 to sponsor debates for contested state senate and state assembly races in Hartford. We would like to expand our voters service activities to more towns in the Greater Hartford region, please join us and strengthen our efforts!

Guide to Elected Officials: Each year we publish a Guide to all elected officials in West Hartford.

Study and Action: We study issues to learn more about them and to enable our League to take action. The League does not take action on any issues unless we have studied and arrived at consensus on the issue.  Issues and Action

Informational Meetings: We hold regular meetings to learn about current topics of interest.
