What We Do

Voters Service:  Each year we seek opportunities to register voters, in cooperation with other organizations and on our own.  We publish a Voters Guide for West Hartford elective offices and with West Hartford Public Access TV we produce televised debates for West Hartford elections.  In 2009 we will cover West Hartford Town Council and Board of Education candidates.   We would like to expand our voters service activities to more towns in the Greater Hartford region, please join us and strengthen our efforts!

Guide to Elected Officials:  Each year we publish a Guide to all elected officials in West Hartford.

Study and Action:  We study issues to learn more about them and to enable our League to take action.  The League does not take action on any issues unless we have studied and arrived at consensus on the issue. Issues and Action Page

Informational Meetings:  We hold regular meetings to learn about current topics of interest.  This year we are focusing upon 2 topics:  Education and Regionalism.  We will hold educational programs on these topics throughout the year.  Check the Calendar for our schedule.
