Voters Guide

The League of Women Voters has published a West Hartford Voters Guide for many years and distributed it through local newspapers. This year the League is entering into the 21^st Century and you will find the Voters Guide on the League’s website, lwvgh.org. A number of pertinent

questions have been asked of the candidates for 5^th District State Senate, as well as the 18, 19 and 20^th District State House of Representatives. If you don’t have a computer, you may also pick up a copy at all West Hartford Libraries, Town Hall, Elmwood Community Center and Bishop Corner Senior Center.

Channel 5 Candidate Debates

United States Congress - CT - 1^st District

John Larson (D) – Joe Visconti (R)

A one-hour debate will be held in the Legislative Chambers of West Hartford Town Hall, 50 S. Main Street. This debate will be broadcast live at 7:00 pm on October 23^rd and rebroadcast on October 24 at 10:00 pm, October 30 at 10:00 pm and November 3 at 7:00 pm. A tape will be available to all other TV access channels in the First District.
